This book demonstrated the great breadth of Joseph Greaves' knowledge in agriculture, microbiology, agricultural practices, and safe food handling.

This book shows Joseph Greaves' ability to clearly explain theoretical and practical microbiology. It was a standard text book for several years. This gave me a good sense of how Joseph Greaves taught and reasoned.

This essay showed the philosophical side of Joseph Greaves. He reviews the historical ideas of the origins of life and concludes that despite scientific progress, the origin of life remains a mystery.

This book, coauthored with his second wife, showed his interest in applying pure science to practical benefit.

This uncredited newspaper article describes the academics achievements of Joseph Greaves' children and grandchildren. It shows his commitment to higher learning.

In this recollection, Menlove recounts the stories of Dr. Greaves, including changing the Mormon sacrament practice and supporting his daughter's admission to medical school.

These were recollections of Joseph Greaves' early family life. One story was about his relationship with Henri Moser and how Greaves purchased paintings to support Moser during the Great Depression.
